Maternity clothes? Oh yes!!

Stretch marks? yep..

Sleep: Finally made it through one night without getting up! Other than that night, I've only been up once a night and it's usually about an hour before my alarm goes off.  

Best moment this week: Summer school ended and my summer began!

Miss Anything? Now that summer is here, I have had a few times where I have missed having a drink. I will probably miss it more when we are at the lake or by the pool!

Movement: Baby has been moving a lot this week! Usually right before I go to sleep or when I am watching TV at night on the couch I notice it the most! It is the most amazing thing! I can't wait until Lary is able to feel it too!

Food cravings: Amy's Rice Krispies and Amy's chocolate chip cookies.  

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing this week!

Gender: not sure yet!? Gender ultrasound is on July 16th!  I keep having dreams that Baby L is a boy! We will see..

Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: My back has been sore and my tummy feels tight at night! So Baby is definitely growing!!

17 week bump pic

This week, the Mahalovich's celebrated Grandma Carol's 70th birthday at aunt Connie's.  Lary had a leak, so I went up alone.   

I also had my last class meeting for my Master's program!! All of my assignments are turned in and graded! Graduation is December 13th, so depending on when little Baby Lehman decides to make his/her appearance I hopefully be able to walk! I am so relieved to have finished my Master's before we had our first baby.  I will definitely miss getting together for class on Wednesday nights!

16 weeks

How far along? 16 weeks

Baby is the size of… an avacado

Maternity clothes? OH YES! Why did I wait so long and why are maternity pants only for pregnancy!? Miracle pants, I tell ya!

Stretch marks? yep..

Sleep:  Made it through the night without getting up for a bathroom break most of the nights this week! Whoop!

Best moment this week: Hearing Baby Lehman's heartbeat again this week!! Still in the 150's

Miss Anything? Summer, where are you? So ready for summer school to be over and have a little bit of a break.

Movement: Definitely some movement, especially at night before bed.  

Food cravings: Rice Krispies!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Chicken patty day for school lunch, it's even hard to go in the cafeteria to take my kids through the lunch line :S

Gender: not sure yet!? Gender ultrasound is on July 16th! 

Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: Feeling pretty good this week!! Great energy and I feel like my skin is glowing!! Been feeling more subtle movement, which is exciting!!

Looking forward to: July 16th! Finding out what Baby Lehman is! Less than and month!!! And the end of summer school.  Great class, and we've done a lot of fun stuff, but I am ready for a break!!

15 Weeks

How far along? 15 weeks

Baby is the size of… an apple

Maternity clothes? Not yet. Doing the rubber band trick with my pants but they are getting pretty uncomfortable..

Stretch marks? yep..

Sleep: Was up 5 times two nights this week. I think it was partially from the cold I have.

Best moment this week: Bought my first maternity pants on Saturday!!

Miss Anything? Still forgetful which can be frustrating.  Thankful for Google and Facebook!

Movement: I think I have felt some small movements, especially when I lay down to go to sleep!

Food cravings: Had an urgent need for rice krispies on Friday night, so we went to the store and got all the fixings!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Chicken patty day for school lunch, can't even stay in the lunch room to eat. :S

Gender: not sure yet!? Gender ultrasound is on July 16th! 

Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: Headaches.  Also had a cold which I thought was allergies. I've been pretty miserable- congested and runny nose

14 Weeks

How far along? 14 weeks

Baby is the size of… a lemon

Maternity clothes? Not yet. Doing the rubber band trick with my pants and I'm able to wear athletic shorts while teaching summer school!

Stretch marks? yep..

Sleep: Only waking up about 1 time a night now for bathroom breaks (Whoop!). Sleeping hasn't been a problem, I usually come home and take a nap after summer school!

Best moment this week: Being able to wear comfy clothes to teach in for summer school and going to dinner with Bobby and Kathy in Sedalia at Kehde's BBQ on Tuesday!  We had a lot of rain and knew Bobby wouldn't be working in the field.  It was nice to go see them, haven't seen them since Easter!

Sleep: Still waking up at least two times a night for bathroom breaks. But sleeping hasn't been a problem!

Best moment this week: Hearing baby's heartbeat!

Miss Anything? sleeping on my stomach.. 

Movement: Still nothing yet, still a bit too early!

Food cravings:  Breakfast foods! We have had eggs, pancakes, and cinnamon rolls in the past week.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Some smells do not settle well, but still haven't been sick!

Gender: not sure yet!? Just got a phone call for our gender ultrasound, July 16th! About a month and a half away.

Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: This week I have had pretty bad headaches, right behind my left eye! Not sure if my eye prescription is changing, eye appointment in the next few weeks.

We were able to record the heartbeat at our appointment on Friday! 148-150 BPM.  Not high or low, so we can't use the old wives tale to predict the gender.  So excited to find out in a little over a month!!!

Sleep: Sleep is usually interrupted at least two times a night for bathroom breaks.

Movement: Nothing yet, anxiously awaiting those first flutters!

Food cravings:  Chick fil a (ate on Saturday before Samantha's graduation party) and Waldo Pizza (ate on Tuesday when Mom, Jackson, and I went to Lees Summit)

Anything making you queasy or sick: Some smells do not settle well, but still haven't been sick!

Gender: not sure yet!?  Sarah McCartney had a dream we were having a girl.. her dreams are always accurate!!

Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: Tired! Sore hips and legs, I feel like I've been doing a killer work out nightly, BUT that's not the case!

Looking forward to: End of the school year, teaching summer school, but MOSTLY hearing Baby Lehman's heartbeat next Friday.

My second year of teaching ended this week.  The year flew by!  So excited for my next bunch of kinders, but will definitely miss my kiddos from this year.  Today was Jackson's Eighth Grade Promotion. Tuesday was Gracie's Eighth Grade Graduation!!  Hard to believe they will both be Freshman next year!

This weekend was Memorial day weekend.  For the past two years we haven't been able to go down to Rick and Mary's cabin for the weekend because Lary has had the on call phone.  The same is true for this weekend, so we decided to spend the weekend working on some small projects around the house!  Saturday we started (and finished) painting the baby room!! I am so incredibly happy for how the color turned out.  The next step is getting the baby furniture!

Catch-up (Weeks 8-11)

8 Weeks- So tired!! No sickness yet, just tired (and napping) almost every night after work!

9 Weeks- Still very tired, no sickness, still taking plenty of naps;)

10 Weeks- Feeling great, but still tired. We had a busy busy week, so you guessed it: I took plenty of NAPS! We had our 2nd OB appointment, this time with another midwife, Connie.  She was fabulous and has a neat southern accent!  We were able to see another ultrasound of Baby Lehman, but she wants us to come back in 2 weeks to hear the heartbeat.  It was such an amazing thing to see our tiny little baby moving around like crazy and rubbing its face!  It is hard to believe how much our little baby moves and that I can't even feel it yet.  SO excited to actually feel our baby moving!

11 Weeks- Royals Game with Denny, Karie, Tori, and David! It was a bit chilly, but we had a blast and fabulous seats!
